Anamorphism pb when playing recorded DVB-T channel
Hi
I am happily using Serviio with my Samsung 40B7000 LED.
It is so much better than the Samsung DLNA server
However, I met a little pb when I am playing a recorded file from a DVB-T channel.
On DVB-T, the format is not "real" 16/9.
It is anamorphic.
That is the resolution is 480*576 for SD (instead of 720*576 for 4/3 or 1024*576 for 16/9).
And the Samsung 40B7000 can not correct it automatically when playing from a DLNA server
(off course, it can do it from a live channel on DVB-T).
For the moment, I am using VLC to do on the fly transcoding from 480*576 to 1024*576 BEFORE recording to a file.
But would it be possible to include the "anamorphic correction" feature from Serviio ?
It would be useful, at least for 40B7000 users !
Thanks
