Plugins to web apps?

Hi,

Is it possible to have plugins to some web apps? Such as Gallery2/3, Ampache? Grooveshark? Picasa? Facebook? Flickr?

Ampache and Gallery2/3 are my favourites.

Re: Plugins to web apps?

Sorry to bring up an old post, but is this planned to be a general plugin system, where a plugin can create virtual root folders? The PS3 Media Server supports plugins as jar files, which can add additional functionality. Would be great to add local "missed show" portals e.d.

0.6 will include (probably Groovy based) script plugins for retrieving video feeds. I don't think it'll be able to change the virtual folders too much, I assume there will be a category with the feed's name under Video/Online feeds

It doesn't have to change them much for most uses, I guess. Allowing a certain level of virtual subfolders would be nice though (e.g. days of the week for a missed shows feed).

Anyway, sounds good to me! Keep up the good work, zip.
