Unable to view pictures on Kodi

Hi,

I've setup Serviio 1.5.2 and it works fine on my DLNA TV, except for wav and AAC files, but i understand these are not currently supported. However on my other TV I use a KODI via upnp which works for audio (excluding wav / AAC) and videos, but for some reason it won't display images full screen. I can see a thumbnail for the image but when i try and display full screen, I just get a blank (black) screen. I've tried jpg's and png of different sizes with the same results. I've looked for a solution to this issue and to see if I need to setup a transcoding profile but have drawn a blank.

Any help would best most welcome.

Re: Unable to view pictures on Kodi

Thanks for your reply,

So on the TV (which works fine) I'm using "Sony Bravia (2010)" profile.

The other TV has a KODI media server attached to it which is using "Generic DLNA profile". My Searching indicated that this is the correct profile, but I also believe that this profile doesn't support trans-coding. To be honest I was under the impression that trans-coding was only for video?

I've looked through the profile list, there does not appear to be a profile for XBMC or KODI. I did try direct tv and both the xbox profiles but again I was only able to see the thumbnail and the screen went black when I selected an image to go full screen.
