I was thinking buying license (I got fix IP and would like to use mediabrowser function) but I am dissapointed...
I downgraded to 1.6 but the error message is same: it is not Win32 application... (serviioconsole), not it worked before..
There is .NET 3.5 SP1

What's wrong?

Ok - this has got confusing. Previous pots have been about my little app - forceserviiorefresh.exe - not being a valid Win32 application, which I can't really think why - it works for me when I download it including on my work laptop which is pretty locked down.Try downloading it again perhaps?

Now you are talking about ServiioConsole not being a valid app???? :?

btw: you dont need to use the ServiioConsole app - you can access it from your browser at the address http://<<IPaddress>>:23423/console where <<IPaddress>> is the IP address of the machine Serviio is installed on (you can also use http://localhost:23423/console from the same PC that Serviio is installed on).

The last try with 1.8 can't refresh forced also.
Alwayas when I logged in (web based) console - evrytime say the same message - The new added media is " a movie "... evrytime same...

So we don't have any solution to it as yet?

Ben, this thread has covered a couple of different areas. Exactly what isn't working for you, the forceserviiorefresh.exe app, or are your newly added files not appearing? If the latter, have you changed your polling method as explained earlier?

No I haven't tried. I was reading the comments and I got confused whether the method will solve the problem or not. I'll give it a try and hit you back. Newly added files are not appearing.

Go on with changing your polling methods.
