Re: Default password on Remote server !!

If you mean in MediaBrowser, you need to set the password in the Console.

In the console, select Remote section and enter the password there + click Save.

There's nothing to install for a console. It is now completely web based. Use any browser on your network and use the CentOS IP address in the browser:

http://IP-Address:23423/console

There's no password to the console, so you can access it from any computer on the network.

Looks like someone else will have to help now. I'm not familiar with Linux installations.

Re: Default password on Remote server !!

What version of Serviio are you using:

  • If 1.6+ then access the console as per atc98092's post
  • If an earlier version, consider upgrading for a whole lot of reasons
  • If you cannot, then you need to install the old Console App (for the same version as your Serviio server) on a PC and then point it to the IP address of your Serviio machine. There were some instructions on this in the wiki but they have been remove (or at least I can't find them) - here is a well written reference from beckos for it (for a Synology NAS but same principle applies - I dont know that step 4 is required): https://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopi ... 15#p143526

Re: Default password on Remote server !!

Hi,

I finnaly found a solution for my issue.

i had to download a separate script that is the console (no one told me that the console is separate  was thinking it s built in)

So i downloaded the console and installed apache and php coz i dind't know that it's a required
