Chromecasting

Does anyone have any advice on how to chromecast my Serviio media from off the network? I can't find any android apps that will do it.

Re: Chromecasting

Try MediaBrowser with Chrome on Android. It uses the builtin player which can cast.

It's kind of finicky at best and doesn't seem to work all that well although Web Video Caster seems to work better although it still seems to have some issues but it works good enough. It was a recommendation by someone else.

Re: Chromecasting

Another possibility is BubbleUPnP for Android and BubbleUPnP server for Windows, Mac, Linux. It works well with Serviio and casts to Chromecast units. It converts any formats that are not directly playable by Chromecast so that everything plays fine.
