Network Setup help

I have a tiny problem
I live in a 3 story house, each floor has there own router. I named them First base, Second and Third
If I allow First Base to manage the DHCP server and turn it off Second and Third, Serviio works nicely but wireless functions are disabled for my cell devices to connect to those routers. But Whats weird is my laptop, roku can connect wireless but no cell phones or tablets.

How can I setup the routers so Serviio works and Cells work
Serviio Servers are on First Base, and my Roku's are on Second and Third.

Re: Network Setup help

Second and third base routers should be run as Wireless Access Points, not as routers. You don't want multiple routers within a private network, as it can cause all sorts of connectivity issues within the network, as you are experiencing.

Yes, first base should handle all DHCP requests, and all three floors should be getting the same IP address settings from it. If second and third are in router mode, then those floors can't get their IP addresses from the first floor. I can't explain why some devices are appearing to work, but it's possible the working ones are all connecting to the first floor, and the non-working ones are connecting to one of the others.
