ffmpeg and Windows 7 64 bit

If I am running Windows 7 64 bit do I need to download the ffmpeg for Windows 7 64 bit? And if so where do I get it and where do I put It?
Thanks

Re: ffmpeg and Windows 7 64 bit

Either 32 or 64 bit latest static build ffmpeg will work on 64 bit PC. In my experience 32 bit seems to consume less resources than that of 64 bit in 64 bit pc.

Rename original file as ffmpeg.orgnl [if ffmpeg instances are running, then this step requires you to stop the serviio service], download and extract ffmpeg.exe from the zip file, and stick it in [serviio folder]/serviio/lib/.

Here is the link:

64 bit
