AVI file and subtitles in other file, should it work ?

Hi !
I'm using Serviio 0.4.2 and Samsung 46C650.
is it possible to play film thru Serviio and see subtitiles that are in separate .txt file ? (not integrated with mkv etc.).
maybe that's a problem with TV ? and Serviio can't do anything about this ?

it must be a separate .srt file with the same file name as the movie (just different extension). Also you must select Sansung profile in the console.
