Randomly skipping to next file while playing

For two years I had no problems but about two months now I have problem with randomly skipping to next file. Sometimes it is after 5 minutes, sometimes after 30 minutes and sometimes it can be okay.

After that I upgraded to newer version but without change. Currently I am on Serviio PRO v 1.9.2 version (Evaluation license).

I added log where this promlem occurred. Media item 861 stopped at 8% and next file started (19:58:05). I tried uncheck Keep library automatically updated checkbox but problem still persists. TV is connected to router via cable. What causing this request for playing next file?

Problem probably solved with Windows Update. I didn't update my Windows for many years... it seems that problem is now gone.

Glad you found the problem. Be aware that Servio 1.10 is now available. Might have some improvements you desire.

So new version didn't help either :( In this state it is not usable. Files are skipping after each 10-20 minutes. Is there some way how to find why this is happening? Or is there any alternative?

Now that you've updated Serviio and your computer, could you upload a fresh version of the Serviio log? You might enable detailed logging, as it might contain something that Zip can spot.

I have problem change debug level from INFO to DEBUG. Config file is changed, server is restarted but in debug log is still only INFO. I also noticed that I have same problem with Samsung AllShare application so it must be something with my network but I have no idea what.

Re: Randomly skipping to next file while playing

I had in NAS similar problem with pro version when i was looking movie from web browser over internet. After fiew minutes playing it skipped to next movie. I started from beginning and same issue. Then in third time it was playing normally. But it went fixed somehow byself. I didnt' did nothing special to fix it. At home network i don't have that kind a issues. Maybe its something to do with buffering? Do you use a wifi or cable connection? Try a cable if you are in wifi.
Btw... i started to think and maybe i checked all my ip settings over from router and did to all devices restart because i had that time some kind a IP problem in LAN.
