serviio media browser login issue on XP

Just to test, I am trying to login using the mediabrowser on XP to the same XP box running the serviio serer ( localhost:23424/mediabrowser ). The login screen is displayed, but it will not take the same password I just entered into the server (and even restarted the server service).

When checking the IE error reporting I get this:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)
Timestamp: Thu, 25 Apr 2013 20:14:41 UTC

Message: 'width' is null or not an object
Line: 1635
Char: 2
Code: 0
URI: http://localhost:23424/mediabrowser/js/media-browser.js

(repeats several times)

...
After entering the password, it appears to log me in and will allow me to navigate to display a video with the thumnail images, but the login screen is still displayed in the middle of the display :?: (mid browser page, not local display, so I can reduce the size of the browser window and it stays on the browser window, and not the root window of the machine.

I try to get a movie (any) to go ahead and play, but the display screen displays, but the movie will not start. It gets another error (I was not able to snag the error message, but it seems to be something about not being logged in).

Your assistance is appreciated. ... Jack

This is the paid for PRO version. I just upgraded this machine and did a fresh install with the latest stable version (1.2.1 currently).

Don't think it works on IE8, use another browser.
