Re: Solution to 30 minute disconnect problem (v1.2.1)

I am getting this issue suddenly a few days ago, no issue until then, about ten minutes into the PC being started up the Serviio server drops off, all devices are affected.

If the PC is rebooted it comes back on, but again only for about ten minutes.

Is there actually a solution to this?

Plex is hassle free if there is no solution.

If you're using that old of a version, it's unlikely the developer can assist you with this. Version 1.2.1 was released more than ten years ago. We're currently on version 2.3, and it's six months old. I have two different Serviio servers running the latest version, my daughter has one on a bit earlier version, and so does my sister-in-law. They all remain online at all times.

There has been no change, yet this suddenly occurred a couple of weeks ago, is there nothing else that could have caused this?

Since you've made no changes to Serviio, the problem must lie elsewhere. Most likely your operating system has received some sort of update that has an impact on Serviio. But again, you're using such a old version there's nothing that can be done. If the same problem exists with the current version, then it's something the Serviio developer can look into. But there's nothing he can do for a version that old.

Re: Solution to 30 minute disconnect problem (v1.2.1)

I am running the latest version, have reinstalled it to be certain, and even installed v1 just in case; v1 did briefly work but then stopped, so back on 2.3.

I don't know to access the code to change the line mentioned in the previous thread.
