How I fixed I/O Broken Pipe
Serviio didn't work for me for weeks throwing up "Broken Pipe" errors and software errors in the log that I didn't understand.
The problem was in transcoding.
The folder that is my temp folder somehow got set to read only.
I am on winblows 8.1 so I blame them.
I deleted the folder and made a new one and it works like a champion.
This has been driving me nuts, I have all wired connection, no software firewall, and I couldn't get it to work for weeks.
I hope this helps someone, it's working great for me now that I ditched the read only folder.
