Session Cookies: Chrome, Firefox, IE..something ain't right

I am a Chrome user primarily, the "remember me" in Mediabrowser ...........NEVER works.......at all......

IE is junk, but haven't played with it much.

Firefox.........however.......some very interesting results......I have the home page set for mediabrowser to launch the root.....images/video/audio......and on 2 different machines......it ALWAYS starts up "logged in" because of the "remember me" checked.

Chrome has the same launch point as a speed dial link....and it NEVER remembers.......

So what am I missing? Why can't Chrome remember a valid log in like firefox does?

No, I will not switch to firefox.....it had its chance.....it failed me.....not interested in going back.

Any thoughts on how to fix this oddity??

Thanks,
Chris

I use Chrome as my primary browser, and have no issues with the remember me. When I open MediaBrowser, I'm immediately on the home screen. Is it possible you have some sort of ad blocker or something that is interfering with it?

Re: Session Cookies: Chrome, Firefox, IE..something ain't ri

I have 3 different ad blockers, but on many sites I frequent, it remembers me without issue....I cant think of at least 15 I frequent daily.

So why would that affect mediabrowser???

I can't see that it blocks it and zip mentioned it was a session cookie....which i assume is different from a persistent cookie.

I run AdBlock, uBlock Origin, and Ghostery all at the same time.

None of those live on Firefox.....so maybe your on to something.

I have uBlock Origin and an HTML 5 video auto-play blocker, but that's all.
