Newbie probs Serviio 1.5.1 on Ubuntu 14.10

Hi, I've been using 1.4.1.2 for a long time and very satisfied with it to date. That was on Ubuntu 14.04. I updated to 14.10 tonight and as I've not used Serviio for a while I checked the server on 14.10 which prompted the Serviio 1.5.1 upgrade. I have followed the instructions, replacing the existing Serviio files with all but the library and plug-ins. I used the "create launcher" on the desktop to create a desktop config file. When I right click the Serviio console file and execute, a message saying that it was unsafe initially came up but nothing now happens. Using the "session and startup" from the setttings menu, replacing the two existing Serviio 1.4.1.2 files, clicking to auto-start and re-starting the PC fails to start the console. What am I doing wrong?
