Xbox One now supports native HEVC playback
Posted: Thu Mar 30, 2017 12:31 amI have an Xbox One S, and I just noticed that by commenting out the h265 transcoding match in the device profile I can watch HEVC content natively from Serviio on the Xbox using the Media Player app. Can someone else please confirm that it also works on the regular Xbox One, and not just Xbox One S? If so this will make a useful profile enhancement for the next version.
