Subtitle burn in which are NOT SRT

Hi all,

My TV supports SRT files, but no other formats; like ASS.
With burn in the ASS works fine, but with the option enabled the SRT will be burned in too which I do not want.
Is there a way to disable SRT subtitle burn-in but leave it enabled for other formats?

ASS subtitles are converted to srt, so you don't need to enable burning in subtitles at all.

If I have burnin disabled and try to play something with an ASS sub then the tv(LG) will just say it is unsupported format.
With burnin enabled it play fine with the subtitle, same with SRT.

Can you post detailed log of playing the file with burned-in and disabled burned-in subtitles?
