Fast forward not working in low and medium resolutions

Hello. I have installed serviio 1.5.1 in a windows 10 pc. I'm playing video files in android with ServiiGo. When I choose original resolution all works fine, but setting low or medium resolution, backwarding or forwarding the video not works (do nothing when I click in the forward line of MxPlayer).
Help please.
Thanks

Re: Fast forward not working in low and medium resolutions

That's because they are transcoded and the player doesn't support time based seeking for Serviio.

Re: Fast forward not working in low and medium resolutions

It will most likely not work in any player.

Thanks again. Do you always have to watch the movie from the beginning with you don't choose the original resolution?
Is There any other way?
Thanks

Nope. Transcoded files are stuck with beginning to end play, without the ability to FF or Rewind. There's one possible exception, and that applehttp (HLS) transcoded files can be played with trick play functions. But that depends on the player to still support it. However, even with HLS you probably can't move forward beyond where the file has been transcoded to.
