Upgraded to 1.9 now shared folders not accessible

Just upgraded to 1.9
Now the shared folders are not accessible or cannot be read
shared folders setup was set from former version and have not changed.
shared folders are at NAS and entered as such for example \\mycloud\movies
In shared folders view there is now a exclamation mark at the right with each line of folder I like to address indicating that folder ist not accessible now or cannot read
under edit I clicked poller mechanism but this doesn't help
sorry I'm new to this version... but with 1.5 it worked like a charm...
tx for help

Re: Upgraded to 1.9 now shared folders not accessible

Were you using a different user account to run the Serviio service before the update? Most likely the update reverted the user account to Local Service, which cannot access network shares. When the problem is accessing files on a different machine, (like your NAS), it's almost always a permissions issue.

tx for reply
right its mostly about permissions.
but I did that in services.msc
set again same user permission as before. no luck
the current shared folders e.g. \\mycloud\movies still not accessible by serviio 1.9
so still stuck with this...

Yep. Still permissions. If you are using the same user name as before for the service, then access should be the same as before. Wondering if something might have also changed on your NAS. I've never played with a NAS, so can't help there.

Re: Upgraded to 1.9 now shared folders not accessible

Update
Well finally I had to do complete reinstall from scratch. Permissions all the same but manually adding each UNC share ...
At least it works now but sadly it rescans and adds now all the more then >21000 titles... which...if I see how slow it adds this will take days ...
But however at least it works now ... and I'm not complaining...
So tx anyway for the headsup and ... yawn... what a f....g slow adding process ... that was definitely faster in 1.5.1... but I wanted to get rid of flash and so no option...
