Check stream URL fails

I updated Serviio to latest stable version v1.9 and now checking the stream URL always fails for online resources. Only the check seems to fail because the online content then plays correctly.
I don't see any log entries for these check calls to try to understand what's the cause...
Any advice?

For example, I installed the
HD-Trailers plug-in and set the source URL as
http://www.hd-trailers.net/page/1/ for the online resource.

for plugins, you have to select either rss feed or web content plugin, not live stream.
Also, I'm not sure if this plugin still works

This plug-in is still working, only checking the stream URL on
Serviio console is failing.

The Check Stream URL button should only be available when you are adding a live stream type of online source..

Oh, I see. That's why checking the stream URL for a web contents fails, then. (Maybe you should disable that button in these cases?)
