Raspberry Pi3 + ArchLinuxARM + Serviio + BubbleUPnPServer

Hello!

My name is Sundar, a recent joinee on Serviio - about 3/4months. All along I have been enjoying my lossless audio collection via Serviio inside and outside the house (via ServiiGo). I had been contended, but recently I tried to configure BubbleUPnP client on my Android to talk to the server on RPi3 that exposes Serviio. I am running 1.9.1 (my Serviio console still says 1.9 even though I had upgraded per the instructions on the site).

Anyway, the problem I am facing is "Action Time out" on the BubbleUPnP client. I went through the forum and saw several folks commenting that this setup works fine for them, but for some reason I am not able to replicate the same favourable outcome. Thus, posting here for some help. Many of the issues I had faced earlier, I had overcome by reading through the forums here, but this alone is being very elusive and frustrating.

I have exposed all the necessary ports on my router: 23424/23423; 58050/58051; 8895/1900. I have added entries in the iptable on RPi3 for 8895/1900 (restarted it as well). I still see this error from BubbleUPnP "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out: http://192.168.1.152:8895/serviceControl"

I have attached Serviio debug logs herewith. Is this related to Profiles? If it is, what is the profile? I am not sure I understand what the log means on the below lines. Help?

  Code:

Re: Raspberry Pi3 + ArchLinuxARM + Serviio + BubbleUPnPServe

you don't need to configure your router, unless you want to access the server remotely. You just need to open the firewall ports on the RPi (TCP 8895, UPD 1900). It looks like 8895 is not open, or accessible from your mobile device (where UPnP is running)
