Problem with "m2ts"

I have some movies ".m2ts" but the problem is while Serviio supports this type it doesn't show on any of the devices that access the server.
Also this isn't a problem with the devices because if I used another way the same devices can see the ".m2ts" files.

Re: Problem with "m2ts"

M2TS is only the container. It depends on what codecs are within the container, and what device you are using to play them. And of course Serviio has to have the correct profile for the player. So, what are you using as a player, and what profile is Serviio using for it? Finally, what codecs are contained in the M2TS file?

All of that is to play the video, but I can't see the file at all in any device on the Serviio server.

Re: Problem with "m2ts"

You still need to answer the questions that I asked. What are you using as a player (TV, Blu Ray Player, Media Streamer, brand and model), what profile is Serviio using for it (look at the Serviio console under Status and find your player), and what codecs are in the M2TS file. There's a link in my signature line that explains how to retrieve the codec information. Without knowing all three, we can't analyze why the files are not appearing on your playback devices.

Can you see/play these files on MediaBrowser? If yes, it's not Serviio fault.
Cheers.

I don't have the Mediabrowser.
I'am using Samsung TV and STP. The TV profile is "Samsung TV / player" and the STP is "Generic DLNA profile"

Re: Problem with "m2ts"

If you haven't purchased Serviio Pro, you have 15 days from installing Serviio that you can use MediaBrowser. So if you're within that 15 days, try opening MediaBrowser (you can do it from the console) and see if the videos appear. If they do, then the problem is the profile your player is using isn't accurate.

Also, STB isn't detailed enough to tell us what profile it needs.
