Subtitles and Stuttering/FF/RW

I've been using Serviio for quite a while now, and generally it works fantastic (thank you!). I'm trying to get subtitles working properly on two different clients.

I have the "Enable burned-in subtitles" option selected. All of my media files have external subtitle (.srt) files. I frequently play files from two different clients:

1) Panasonic BluRay player - recognized as a Generic DLNA device. Everything works great on this device. All videos play, subtitles display properly, and sometimes I can Fast-Forward and Rewind.
2) Playstation 3 (PS3) - recognized as Playstation 3. Videos sometimes stutter, and it's never possible to Fast-Forward or Rewind.

How can I keep the current functionality on the Panasonic BlueRay player, but get improved functionality on the PS3?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
In trying to duplicate the problem and capture logs....I can't seem to replicate the issue. I did just update Serviio, so perhaps the update corrected my particular problem. I'll monitor over the next few days and see if I can capture logs.

Re: Subtitles and Stuttering/FF/RW

Burning in subtitles forces the video to be transcoded. Almost no players support FF or rewind with transcoded files, unfortunately.
