Is it possible to downgrade to older versions (1.9)?

Re: Is it possible to downgrade?

I would think that that installing 1.9 over 1.9.1 might not cause a problem, but I always recommend doing a clean install if you are going to downgrade. That way you don't risk some minor change that actually impacts functionality.

What is the reason you desire a downgrade? Perhaps we can help with any issue you're having.

Thanks for your response.

Where can I download the 1.9 or other older version installation files? I can't find it anywhere on this site.

Re: Is it possible to downgrade?

To download previous versions, copy the URL for the current download and edit the version number. For example, the current download URL for the Windows version is
  Code:
http://download.serviio.org/releases/serviio-1.9.1-win-setup.exe

Edit the URL and change 1.9.1 to 1.9, or whatever version you desire. If you want the install for a different OS, copy the URL from the download page and edit it the same way.

Re: Is it possible to downgrade?

Hi goffyxue, as atc98092 says just change version and/or platform. For instance, 1.9 for linux:
[url]http://download.serviio.org/releases/serviio-1.9-linux.tar.gz[/url]

For the specific case of downgrading from 1.9.1 to 1.9, there is no special matter to take into account (I did it) -not as to go to 1.8 o 1.7 as it changes the DB-; but anyway, make always a backup before doing it!

Regards,
L.
