Re: Unable to start Serviio Service

Hi there! Please attach your Serviio log to a post here. That should identify the problem. On a Windows installation, the log is located at C:\Program Files\Serviio\log, and the file name is serviio.log. We don't need the Derby log file.

Re: Unable to start Serviio Service

Hello, thank you for your feedback.
I looked in the Log folder, but the folder is empty, even showing hidden files. The console always displays the same message: "Cannot connect to the server: It doesn't seem to be running". By forcing the Serviio service I have the windows error "193: 0xc1".

Re: Unable to start Serviio Service

I'm at a loss then. That means Serviio isn't even reaching the point of startup to create the log file. It perhaps sounds like a permission issue, but the Serviio install should set the necessary permissions during setup. Hopefully Zip will see this thread and have some insight.
