There is a setting for each shared folder location that can change the method that Serviio uses to watch for changed media. In your Serviio console open the media folder and look for a checkbox that says "Poller". Click that and save the setting and Serviio should now catch all changed media. Just be aware that sometimes it still requires a manual refresh, and I don't think the Serviio developer has ever been able to determine why it sometimes still has issues. I believe he's done everything possible via programming, and it's simply something in the computer operating system that causes the issue.
