Wrong titles

Is there any way to save Soap Episodes and other things so thaT they can be understood on the TV screen . Eposodes of soaps are given movie names and have nothing to do with content and often the same movie title is shown for several di¡fferent soaps , Coronation Street , Emmerdale ect . Its imposible to see what a file is without starting it and playing a sort segment but when you have 20 or 30 files its spoils the experience of having Serviio .

Re: Wrong titles

How are you naming your files? Have you read the help section for naming files? https://www.serviio.org/index.php?optio ... icle&id=12

TV episode files must be named in a certain way to ensure you get the accurate metadata. Also, go to themoviedb.org and look up the series in question. Assuming you are referring to the US TV show "Soap" you could name the folder that contains your episode files as "Soap (1977)" as sometimes adding the first year of the series helps link the correct show. If all else fails, you can name the folder with the IMDB ID number, like this: "Doctor Who (2005) tt0436992".

Mine has never failed using one of these tips.
