Anyone tried it with their Popcorn Hour? It still doesn't seem to work, you enter to play a video and it just boots back to menu.

Only TVersity seems to work with the Popcorn Hour.

First time posting a log, filtered out the library updates hope it's all OK.

Edit: Tried different uPnP render profiles (WDTV, Samsung TV etc.) still no joy.

Could you capture packets when you browse for content in serviio via Wireshark? It seems the Browse method is weird and doesn't return anything.

I'd really like to get this working so sure. What exactly do you want me to do? Install wireshark and dumb a log when I'm browing on the PCH? Won't it be a HUGE log since I got a ton of stuff going on in my NAS? Where can I send it to you?

I just started capture then browsed and tried to play a file which didn't play. This time the PCH is 192.168.1.142 as it's my A210 in my living room.

Also when I try and send the file via uPnP to the PCH via my Android phone with Bubble uPnP it results in an error saying "format not supported, supported formats include mp3, m3u (and more video formats). However it obviously works with TVersity so perhaps they've discovered a work around?

can you try it with DirecTV profile?

Tried that profile but now it doesn't even show in the list of sources in the PCH.

Edit: It shows up on my A100 but still the same symptom - no playback.

I've been using Serviio for a while now to stream movies to my Samsung C series TV from my Ubuntu server - it's been great; thanks!

On topic:
I have a PCH A110 hooked up to the TV in my study and serviio cannot stream video to it. It populates the folders correctly (movies. series, last viewed etc with the correct files), but for some reason the PCH is listing the files as images rather than video (the icon next to the file name is the one that usually shows next to an image file).

Music works fine. And I can access the movies over smb on the PCH so it's not a big deal for me. Just thought I'd chime in with my experience.

Again, thanks; I've tried a few media servers of the years and Serviio is the best one for me.

No luck with new profile. Exactly the same symptoms - the video files appear to the PCH as image files. When you try and play nothing happens and it reverts back to the menu.

I've uploaded a packet capture of when I browse and start playing with TVersity. The PCH is 192.168.131 my server is 132.

Nope only Tversity.

Edit: And it does seem to be an issue with the PCH because even TVersity doesn't work with the 200 series. Many people have mentioned it on the forums but Syabas don't seem to be interested in fixing it. Since you managed to get Serviio serving up mkv's to Samsung TV's which didn't work with any other streamer previously I'm hoping you can work some magic and bypass PCH's buggy server.

I'll become a beta tester if you need one as I've gotten both series of PCH so should be able to fix it.

Any updates Zip?
