Hi

Using 0.6.2 and great to have TRP support now - thanks.

Sony Bravia HX703 (Bravia2010 Profile)
Sony BDP S370 (Sony BD Profile)
DigitalStream DPS1000 (Generic DLNA Profile)

I have done a matrix of my top4 Media Filetypes (2/3 variants in each)
MKV - 720p AVC + AC3 or DTS
MP4 - 720p AVC + AAC 5.1 or 2.0
TRP - 1440x1080 AVC + AAC 5.1
TRP - 720(or544)x576 MPEG + MPEG 2.0
TRP - 1440x1080 AVC + AC3
AVI - OK - XVID + AC3 or MP3

and find that there is always at least one good option for each type but some have a fail on one or two devices.

As there are profiles for the S370 and Bravia TV I would have hoped that there would be no fails and apart from SD Freeview (standard MPEG TS ?) the TV profile is excellent. The S370 actually has most problems.

I would hope that a bit of copy and paste in the config profiles.xml may work but am at a bit of a loss to spot which parts to cut/paste.

The DPS1000 seems a very capable media and DLNA player though presumably doesn't support DTS. It does support AAC.

I hope this matrix makes sense and I can of course post any extra info needed to help with trying to get all files working on all my devices !!!!!!

Life would not be so problematic if I were on my own and all devices were in the same room and in use by just me but . . . I have to try to get them working for 3 people/rooms you see.

Standard filetypes on specifically supported devices (albeit SONY ! devices) and no one has any answers as to why they fail ?
Or what to change in profile config file ?

Could you enable detailed logging (see signature)?

1st Log for FreeView-SD

Sony TV first
- List shows [MPEG2]
- Looks like playing but Info shows Playback at 0:00:00 / 0:29:50
- - Press STOP to move on.

BDP S370 next
- List shows [M2TS]
- Waiting Spinner appears and then Cannot connect to server - Spinner again and INFO shows 0:00:00 / 0:00:00
- - Press STOP

DPS1000 - Plays A-OK
