Serviio, Sopcast, WDTV Live

I'm quite new to all this..
I want to have sopcast running on my pc - and streaming to my wdtv (via serviio, obviously).
It is sort of working .. HOWEVER I can only get it to work by using the "Sony BD Player" profile.
The problem is the picture looks a bit squashy using this profile. I have seen people having problems with the wdtv profile in other threads (for different scenarios). I have tried their solutions and this is why I'm using the Sony BD Player profile and this has so far been the best result.
Can anyone give any advice on why the default wdtv profile won't work for me in this instance or what else I may try?
For the record I watched England v France the other night and it did not stutter for a second - its just the picture quality I want to improve. It was perfect on my PC but serviio did not deliver it to my wdtv with great quality because I used the wrong profile and don't know which one I can use.
