My Serviio Experience- Great
I wanted to say Serviio has worked great for my since I got it and then quickly upgraded to pro around version 1.2. I run it off of WHS2011 (Windows Home Server 2011) and it streams to everything in my house with no problems. All of the devices in my house through wired or wireless connections have never had a problem interfacing with Serviio. The Serviio plugins for WHS2011 and Android make it easy to manage from multiple devices. For me it streams to
-Sony Blu-Ray players
-Onkyo Receiver
-Marantz Receiver
-Sony Receiver
-Andriod devices
-Sony Network interface device
My WHS2011 uses an Intel quad core Q6700 with 8GB ram, and all of the streams have never had a problem. The DLNA works better than the one included with the server. Whether music, HD video etc, everything has picked up Serviio. The web interface for the pro version was nice too. I just haven't had a problem with it on the server. I may put it on a Synlogoy NAS, but I'm not sure about that yet. It was between Twonky and Serviio when I picked and I think I made the right choice. Looking forward to new versions. Thanks.
