Secure Media Browser

I want to access my media from outside my home network. but I am not sure if when I access the site using the URL will it be secure?

so I need an SSL to make it secure? if so how do I get this installed on Serviio?

Re: Secure Media Browser

Access over SSL comes in 1.6.1. But there is a downside - actually streaming files over SSL is very CPU intensive (assume on both, server and client side), so it might not work very well.

Re: Secure Media Browser

1.6 doesn't have it built - in, unless you put some proxy server in front of Serviio to do the ssl for you.
