Samsung 3D LED Smart TV:

40D6000 confirmed video .mkv to 1080P, audio to 24-Bit FLAC, Photos to 8.1MP - The limits I have tested to that work, that's the highest definition/ resolution content I have and it all works great!

Simply set the 'Device Profile' to "Samsung Player/TV (C/D Series) " in the 'Status' tab and you're all set

I think this will carry across the whole D6000 series (Australian)

Great job on the best DLNA server available, and it's free!

Re: Compatible devices list

Works perfectly for me on:

PS3 Slim & Original
Sony Bravia KDL-40NX713

Using the default profiles assigned to the devices (PS3 and Bravia TV)

Now, if I could just find an iPad app a bit like the Plex one ;)

Re: Compatible devices list

I'm using it with PS3 and three Sony SMP-N100s.

PS3 profile is perfect, but I'm having trouble with some H.264 encoded .MP4s on the SMP-N100. SOME of the H.264 .MP4s don't show up in the list of available movies (which is the symptom of not having the correct profile selected for the SMP-N100s, so I'm guessing it's a profile issue, NOT a "bug" in SERViiO)!

Just to update this I am now running Serviio 0.6 and using the Toshiba Regza default profile. So far things work really well with the Toshiba remote.
I can FF, FR, Pause, and Play/Continue as expected. Which is all I need at this time.

I'm using a Samsung BD-C5500C BLU RAY player to connect to Serviio without any problems. As a paid owner of Twonky, I find Serviio's features superior on this player. Thanks.

v0.5+
Samsung UN55C6300 LCD TV
Samsung BD-C6500 Blueray

FF and rewind are working, and also "resume" if you stop watching a file and then start it up again.

v0.6.0.1
Denon AVR-3311ci reciever

Re: Compatible devices list

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if the answer to my querry is already answered somewhere else. I have a Sony BDP-S470 and I'm busting my ass off to make it read MKV files with external SRT subs over my network (cabled). I saw in older posts in this thread that previous versions of Serviio actually couldn't do it, but I didn't see anything explicitly about this new version. Is there anyway that Serviio can do it? Maybe I didn't set it correctly.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Re: Compatible devices list

LG ST-600 Smart TV Enabler works like a charm using the LG-profile :)

Update: I addad the SVT-play plugin and since the ST-600 has no flash 10+ support, I had to enable transcoding! This made to ST-600 unable to play any content with DTS audio. Now, the ST-600 can handle DTS audio, unlike LG TV's (from what I have learned). Lookin in the LG profile, it tells serviio to transcode any DTS audio, so I added a new profile "ST600" as a copy of the LG TV profile, but with the DTS transcoding section removed. Now it works like a charm :)

Re: Compatible devices list

After a little welcome forum assistance with a couple of setup nits, I'm having pretty good luck streaming to my Samsung BD-C6800 Blu-ray player (wired). Serviio is running on Win7 Ultimate x64. Like many other folks, though, I'm fighting the player's unwillingness to FF / FR .mkv files. I just remuxed one to .m2ts using txMuxer and will have a look at the results when time permits.

Update: The re-muxed .m2ts file still won't FF / FR

Re: Compatible devices list

I'm using serviio with an Oppo BDP-95 BD player.

I've been unable to get any album artwork to appear from CD is rip as FLAC using Songbird. Artwork does appear for some albums I've downloaded as FLAC. Some of these have album artwork in the album folder, some do not. Those that do I can delete, refresh the server and the artwork still appears. Anyone have suggestions or experience using Songbird 1.10.1 (on a mac running lion - 10.7.2) for getting artwork to appear after ripping a CD?

Thanks!
