Samsung J series H264 troubles

Hi! I have the new Samsung UE48JU6472 TV. When I try to play most H264 files it does not work and ends up with unsupported codec message. H265 plays without transcoding. What could be the problem that the TV does not play H264 directly or even with Serviio onthefly transcoding?

Thank you for help

No suggestions can be offered without media information. Simply saying it uses h264 isn't enough. There can be a variety of things that can differ. Either provide the media info using FFMPEG command line or from a program that can read the information (such as MediaInfo).

Also, what device profile are you using?
