Profile to encode everything into one format

Dear all masters,

How would one start about in making a profile that would encode every movie into a certain format?
While testing mz setup I noticed that a rockchip dlna receiver was only able to show avi files so that would be the goal.
Mpeg files were not starting so they would need to be encoded.

Re: Profile to encode everything into one format

AVI is not a supported container for transcoding. See this page for more details: http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=24

These are your video codec choices: mpeg2video (MPEG2), wmv2 (WMV9), h264

And these are the containers: asf, mpeg (MPEG2PS), mpegts (MPEG2TS), applehttp (HLS)

Figure out what your player supports and go from there.
