Re: Two same media info. One is normal one have to be transc

I found one difference between the two, but I'm uncertain how it would make a difference. The first file, audio stream 2, the title says title: Czech AC3 2.0 [640 Kbps] but the language says eng. On the second file, the two lines both agree with cze as the language.

Do you have a default language set in the Serviio console? Perhaps it sees the difference between the two audio streams and plays one natively while the other is transmuxed to feed a different audio stream. You might think a file is being transcoded, but in reality is only being transmuxed. Both require ffmpeg to run, but transmuxing uses very little computer power compared to transcoding.

My guess is Zip would like to see a debug log with an attempt to play each one. But since you've downgraded your Serviio version, you'd have to reinstall 1.8 first. If you do this, also note what the CPU load looks like when you believe it's transcoding. Unless it's near 100%, it's only transmuxing.
