Hi there,
i just bought an Onkyo BD-809.
I can connect to my Serviio (1.9) and play audio-files.
But with generic profil it does not find my video-files like mp4.

I've tried several other profiles. Mostly it doesn't work, but with some transcode profiles it browses the video-files.
When trying to play them, it gives a short green screen and it only plays audio.

Does anyone know, how to write a transcode profile or already own one?

Thanks kroenchen

Assuming the model is BD-SP809, I looked up a manual online and it doesn't show any support for online video playback. Page 7 of the manual lists what can be played via USB, and no video format is listed. It doesn't appear to support any video formats other than the default DVD/Blu Ray disc formats. The only note about playing something besides a commercially produced disc is this:

This unit cannot play back stand-alone AVCHD files (*.m2ts, *.mts or *.m2t) written to a DVD or copied to an SD card. The DVD or SD card containing AVCHD files must have a proper file and folder structure meeting AVCHD format specifications. Please use AVCHD compliant device/software to burn or copy AVCHD files to DVD or SD card.

I don't think this player will support playing anything other than music from your network.
