Hi,

I noticed that transcoding will transcode the full file, even if file is not used anymore.
Even after turning off the TV, Serviio server continues to transcode all files that were opened.
Maybe it's the feature, but I suggest to run transcoding for files that are used at the moment.

How long the transcoded output file will stay in the Temp folder?
Shouldn't the Temp folder output be deleted immidiately after file clousure or if no device is accessing/using the file(after stopping player or turning off TV)?

You're right, that's a feature. Serviio doesn't know if the file is accessed, it's down to lower IO functions. It also supports the case when there might be 2 devices accessing the same transcoded file at the same time.
The file stays in the temp folder until you stop Serviio or untill you start transcoding another file.
