Selecting language when transcoding audio

Hi!

I've an mp4 file with two languages - portugese and english in that order. I only want the english stream, but there doesn't seem to be any way of selecting the language according to the transcoding instructions. Any suggestions apart from re-encoding the file?

ffmpeg audio stream output:

Stream #0.1(por): Audio: aac, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16, 262 kb/s
Stream #0.2(eng): Audio: aac, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16, 163 kb/s

OK Thanks- I'd already found that topic. I guess I hoped someone might have a better way of dealing with it than recoding, since I don't want to have to recode several files just because the audio streams are the wrong way around for me.

Rather than transcoding the file you could remux it using TSmuxer. It's very quick, but yes - it's a feature that many people want to see in a future version of Serviio.
