SONY XBR9 - Not Playing MKV Files

Hi,
I just downloaded Serviio Media Center and found that I cannot play MKV files on my TV (Sony XBR9 - 2009 Model)..... i am very new to this forum.
Can someone please help??

make sure Sony 2009 profile is selected in your console for the device

Hi,
Thanks for your quick response. The correct profile "Sony Bravia TV (2009)" has been selected for my TV. I have verified that the "Transcoding" is enabled as well.
When i try to browse through all my video's on my TV the MKV files do not show up at all.
Please let me know if you need more information to help me resolve this issue.

you can enable
detailed logging and try browsing again, then post the log here

I may have a similar problem playing files wirelessly on the smp-n100. It also said any of the mkv files were unplayable or corrupt. I made to force all mkv files into mpeg otherwise Sony wont play them.... See
viewtopic.php?p=52709#p52709 for my profile changes. the message has an attachment, my modified profiles.xml file
