The TV is picky and plays some files like this and some it does not. Not sure what is the problem - but generally transcode it not needed for h264/aac.

Re: Samsung b-series MP4 h264/aac

For anyone experiencing the same problem: I used DivX Plus Converter (free) to convert these MP4 files to HD MKV and they work fine now on my TV. It works very easy. It even supports fast forward now. Personally, I don't see any loss of quality, only thing is your CPU's will be smoking for a couple of hours while converting...

Re: Samsung b-series MP4 h264/aac

See the thread about Samsung C LED series. It is in the small print of the Samsung users manual. "if there are problems with the contents of a codec, the codec will not be supported" which translated seems to mean if there is an error in the data stream then you are SOL. This would explain why some files play and others do not, and is the reason why I am hoping to get transcoding working on playing my DVDs from my PC.
