need help with tv and pic slideshow

Hi ,
need help with not so "smart" tv
i want to play repeating picture slideshow on my tv.
my tv has android on it so i tried :
a. connect the default player via dlna to serviio , but it does not have the repeat option in it.
b. connect via serviio go app , again no repeat option.
c. via media browser option in serviio was able to run slideshow repeatedly , but it does not refresh when i add new images to the shared library.

help would appreciated

A: Nothing can be done about that. Playback is entirely controlled by the player.
B: Ask the ServiioGo developer if it can be added, but again it might be a limitation of the player.
C: Is Serviio not refreshing your media folder, or is it just not recognizing new media while a slideshow is in progress? Might be a limitation of the current player used for MediaPlayer. Zip would have to answer that. He's working on a new HTML 5 based player that might work differently with this, but I'm unsure.

Might try a different player, just to experiment. If you have a Blu Ray player, Roku, Fire TV, or some other sort of player you might see if continuous playback is supported. With a Roku, I believe it will only play to the end of the list, but the Roku Media Player has some new controls that I haven't looked closely at and repeat play might now be supported.
