Mediabrowser Download

I've used MediaBrowser for a few years now to stream video to my iPad from my video library on my PC at home.
I was wondering if there was a way via MediaBrowser to download a video file vs trying to stream it in real time?

I've found that when away from home the network connections will not be adequate for streaming but will suffice for a background download.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Mike

Re: Mediabrowser Download

My suggestion would be to copy any media you'd like to watch when away from your home network if you think there will be a connection issue. I do this when I travel if there's something specific I'd like to watch. However, I've found that even with a 5 Mbps hotel connection I can usually watch my SD content. Remember that there is a setting on MediaPlayer to select a setting lower than original if you have speed issues.
