I have a new TV, model UE43NU7475, but I can't see many of the films I had. Does anyone know which profile is the best for Samsung UE43NU7475 or how to créate one for modern Samsungs TVs? Thanks.
Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
Films that aren't listed generally means that Serviio doesn't believe they can be played on your device, so hides them. It's unlikely that a different Samsung profile will make them appear, since it's doubtful that Samsung has changed their codec support from previous models, but the M series profile would most likely be the best fit.
However, I believe your first step is to determine why these videos don't appear. See the link in my signature line to determine the contents of your media file, and post it here so we can see if it's the video or audio codec that is the issue.

Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
Films are listed, but I get a message that they can not be played when I try. I've tried M profile, but there are films that doesn't play- I have read that Samsung has eliminated DIVx and DTS support in 2018 TVs, but I don't know how to modify the profile to enable the transcoding of these formats.
Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
Let's try a different profile that has a Divx transcoding line. Try using the Sony BDP-Sx90 (21012) profile. It contains two lines to capture Divx video. Try playing one of the files that won't play. If it does, then we can look for the best place to insert some code for your Samsung.

Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
Solved using a user profile as indicated i the other post. I have read it, but I tried to modify the original profile file and didn't work. And the post has an error, the file should be called user-profileS.xml. Thanks!!
Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
Please upload the user file you have tried to create, so we can help with any XML errors.

Re: Profile for UE43NU7475
The error was in the name, I named it as the post said "user-profile.xml" and it should be called "user-profiles.xml". I have tried some of the films I cannot see and they work now. Thank you very much.
