Mpeg 4 not playing on Panasonic Vierra TV

Hi,

Firstly, thanks for Serviio, its the most useful software I have used in many years.

I am not a big techie, and managed to play all my media files using Serviio on my Panasonic TV. That is until I changed my PC and re-installed the latest version of Serviio.

Not my panasonic wont play any MP4 files. I am adding the media info for one of the files which wont play.

Also adding the transcoding profile for panasonic, I made a few tweaks and could have over-engineered here with my limited knowledge. The renderer profile is set to Panasoinc Vierra in the Console.

<Profile id="12" name="Panasonic Viera" extendsProfileId="1">
<ContentDirectoryMessageBuilder>org.serviio.upnp.service.contentdirectory.PanasonicDLNAMessageBuilder</ContentDirectoryMessageBuilder>
<SubtitlesMimeType>text/srt</SubtitlesMimeType>
<MediaFormatProfiles>
<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="video/divx">AVI</MediaFormatProfile>
</MediaFormatProfiles>
<Transcoding>
<!-- remux DTS in MKV to AC3 -->
<Video targetContainer="mpegts" targetACodec="ac3">
<Matches container="matroska" vCodec="h264" aCodec="dca" />

</Video>

do you have the profile selected for the device? Is it just this one file not playing and was it playing before?

Yes, I have selected Panasonic Vierra as the renderer profile.

None of the MP4 files play. I have tried all of them.

I have followed Phil's instructions too, no luck even after re-starting the PC.

I even tried to reset the TV to factory defaults, still nothing.

Is there a way I can download the 0.5 version, all my MP4 files worked like a charm on that version.

Appreciate all the help.

Sorry zip...didnt answer the complete question. Yes this file was playing earlier and so were all the other MP4 files I have. None of the MP4's play now.

Serviio is able to generate thumbnails for the files but wont play them.

http://download.serviio.org/releases/se ... -setup.exe (you'll have to uninstall first)

You could also post detailed log of when you're trying to play something.
