ST-600 transcoding flash issues
I,m using the SVT-play plugin with Serviio 0.6.2 to watch online video in flash format. Since the ST-600 doesn't play flv files natively I activated transcoding, which works, quality is great, but I have a couple of minor issues.
1. The video starts playing about 2 minutes after I push the play-button. At that point the transcoded videofile has reached 150 MB in filesize. Does the videofile really have to be that large for playing to start? Is there any way to make it start playing sooner? As a reference I copied the transcoded file and changed extension to m2ts. Via CIFS it starts playing with the normal delay but via Serviio the delay is significantly longer (not near 2 minutes though). Why is that?
2. While watching the transcoded video it's not possible to skip back or forward, only to pause. Is that the way it's supposed to be? While playing the m2ts file it is possible to skip, however the delay using Serviio is again longer than using CIFS. Anything to do about this?
