Xbox 360

Ok, so I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3. I have a few 1080P MP4 files that I am trying to play on the Xbox 360. When trying to play them I get the error 69-C00D36B4 and that it is an unsupported type. I was under the impression that Serviio would transcode it if necessary?
Re: Xbox 360
post ffmpeg -i of the file

Re: Xbox 360
Ok, stupid question. Where would I find the ffmpeg executable? I looked in the serviio plugin directory and nothing is in there. That might be the problem.
Re: Xbox 360
Nevermind. I found it. Sometimes you just need to look harder. I am playing with Serviio on Server 2012 and the interface is totally different and I think it made me slightly retarded for a minute.

Re: Xbox 360
I assume that is what you were looking for?
Re: Xbox 360
Yes, it looks like the problem is the 5.1 audio - XBox only supports 2.0 AAC streams. Serviio doesn't currently invoke transcoding based on number of audio channels. I'll open a ticket to implement this.

Re: Xbox 360
Thanks. I appreciate the assistance. I just wish Serviio had the web server interface like Subsonic does, then I would be able to just run Serviio instead of both Serviio and Subsonic. I donated to Subsonic because I use it so much remotely. Once I can get Serviio to work for my needs, I will have to see about upgrading to the paid version.

Wish granted Serviio does have MediaBrowser, its web based so you can watch or listen your content on the move!
If you have an Android device, ServiiGo works well with it.

Re: Xbox 360
Is this ticket being worked on or is there a workaround like reencoding the file?
