I read in another post, samsung readers are able to read only a certain number of files per folder.
I have a raspberry pi with OpenELEC and when I enable UPnP, you can read folders with more than 100 files. I know UPNP and DLNA are different standards. Does the DLNA could avoid this restriction of the reader?

the playback device controls how many items you can see in a folder. There is no limit that I am aware of on the server
