Serviio Not Adding Files from Library

Hi, Sorry to raise this topic again but I cannot find answer to this problem on Forum. I've attached the latest log in the hope it will identify my problem.
I have a Samsung UA46ES5500 TV and my PC is a 64 bit running Windows 7. Initially I was able to play downloaded .wmv TV from BBC iPlayer on Allshare but about 10 days ago this stopped working. Have made many searches on various Forums & tried to get help from Samsung but to no avail - they say take the TV back to a service agent 200 miles away!!
I installed Serviio last week but cannot get it to add the files. Can you help please?
Thanks very much.

Did you keep turning the service on and off?

Thanks for looking at this. No, I have not turned it off & on. Here is a log from a few minutes ago when I restarted Serviio. Seem to be a lot of Java problems. Grateful for your advice thanks.

The error is related to a online feed you entered, which is not a proper RSS feed. Otherwise the log looks fine.

Enable detailed log and post it again.

Re "The error is related to a online feed you entered, which is not a proper RSS feed. " I'm afraid I do not understand what this means. I am not aware of entering an online feed. The only manual entering I have done is to link the library folders. Can you explain please?
Re turning on detailed logging, I have tried to do this about 20 times but nothing happens. This is what I have tried - I have found the file log4j.xml in the config folder, right clicked on it, clicked on edit, copied
<category name="org.serviio">
<priority value="DEBUG"/>
</category>
into the text doc, saved it and exited. I have then clicked on restart as per the Serviio Windows service instructions. However, when I open the log folder there is no serviio.log file there. What am I doing wrong please?

After multiple attempts I finally got a detailed log attached (I hope it's what you need).
I'd be grateful if you could explain this please "The error is related to a online feed you entered, which is not a proper RSS feed. "
Thanks very much.
PS
Before I tried to run Serviio I was using Samsung Allshare and this worked fine for a few weeks until 2 weeks ago when it stopped working. I can still get 2 or 3 BBCiPlayer downloads to play on the TV but most (over 20) will not play although I can play most of them on the PC with Windows Media Player. It's all very puzzling to me!

It looks like you have some shared folder

  Code:
[LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Looking for files to share in folder: C:\Users\clive\My Videos

and some files have been added

  Code:
[MediaItemDAOImpl] Media item Gardeners_World_2013_Episode_9_b01sfj56_1368238127.wmv already exists in DB

So you should see some files. What is the problem now?

Yes, I can see the files on the TV now but when I try to play any of them I get the message 'The selected file is not currently supported'. I get the same message if I try using Allshare.
I've attached a new detailed log if that is of help.
Thanks again for your time & effort on this.

Looks like you're using Generic profile? Assign the Samsung C/D/E to your device in the console.

I'm not sure which device you refer to - is it the TV (UA46ES5500) or PC-Allshare? In any case, I've tried both profile settings and still get the 'selected file is not currently supported' message. I've attached a screen dump of the Serviio Console and Windows Media Player. The latter has never shown any library files for Serviio. I get all media files on the TV but I can only get home video files & photos to play.
I've scanned the Forums for help and after seeing someone with the same problem get a fix by reinstalling Version 1.1, I have given it a try but without any success.
It is extremely frustrating as initially I was able to play downloaded TV programmes from the BBC iPlayer on Allshare but this suddenly stopped working about 4 weeeks ago.
Any further suggestions will be gratefully received.

Serviio won't work with WMP.

So if your TV's ip address is .3, I didn't see any requests from it in the log. Post another detailed log which includes you attempting to play the file.

Also post ffmpeg -i for the file.

Attached is a detailed log 'serviio.pdf'. Re '... post ffmpeg -i for the file', I am afraid I have no idea what this means or how to do it despite searching the Forum for an explanation.
I also had no idea that WMP won't work with Serviio - that is not mentioned in the Support info on the website.

Thanks for that. The ffmpeg info log is below.
I can see this - '[asf @ 034A5AE0] Ext DRM protected stream detected, decoding will likely fail!' in the ffmpeg log but the file plays on the PC on Samsung Allshare so DRM must be OK. But if I try and play it on another device, i.e. the TV it fails with the message "The selected file is not currently supported".
The latest detailed log zip file is attached also a copy of the media Info for the .wmv file.
Hope this all helps to find the problem. Thanks again.
Clive

Does it play on the TV using AllShare server?

the DRM is the likely cause.

Hi,
No, it does not play on the TV using AllShare server. However, the file plays on the PC on Samsung Allshare so surely DRM must be OK?
What I still find difficult to understand is that the .wmv files used to play on the TV with Allshare but don't now!

Try to transcode all wmv files. Add this

  Code:
<Matches container="asf" />

after

  Code:
<Matches container="mp4" vCodec="mjpeg" />

in the C/D/E profile.

Hi Petr,
Was not sure what to do but after searching found 'profiles' in 'config' with '<Matches container="mp4" vCodec="mjpeg" />' under 'C/D/E-series'. Did an edit adding '<Matches container="asf" />', saved and closed. Restarted Serviio and PC and attached is the profile log. Not sure if this was correct though. Does this help please?
Still getting 'file not supported' error message.
Thanks very much.
