I am specifically having problems playing mkv's with external subs when using the C/D/E profile

I will get the log when I go home today. The problem that I am having specifically is that under subtitles when only enable subtitles is checked, subtitles will not play both sub and srt. When I check Enable burned in subs the tv says the file is not playable and it also shows the file size on the tv 0.00GB.

Posted: Sun Jun 02, 2013 3:21 pmi have F-series TV, and i can see the folders only, but can't see (browse) any content of that folders. for example my another TV is E-series TV, and there is no problems at all.

When I purchased my Samsung F6400 on may, all videos played using Serviio showed its miniature perfectly on TV. Since a few days ago, these have missing without explanation.
I have tried a lot of changes and nothing happens.
All remaining functions work fine and I am happy with them, although it is very frustrating to see the file without its mini-picture.
What is the solution?

Using generic profile. Can watch and seek MP3 audio, MP4 video and MKV video.

Hi, can you test with the latest beta? Are there any files that you cannot play with the C/D/E profile or that play better with generic?

I'll have a go with 1.2.1 on both profiles, make some notes and then try the beta this weekend (both profiles).

Streams natively, most of the time. Unless the H264 level is too high. You can try disabling transcoding if it helps with seeking.

Been watching a few MKVs using the E profile on 1.2.1 today - no seeking, but seems OK. The F series seems to have a minor lip sync issue which recent firmware has improved but not totally fixed - only happens on hi res streams though.
Going to try the beta tomorrow.
